4、s.Section2dealswithinputdevices–thosephysicalsystemcomponentswhichareavailablefortheusertocontrolandmanipulateinformationinacomputersystem.Wewillbelookingbothatthevariousdevicesthatareavailableandalsoatsomeframeworkswithinwhichtoconsiderthephenomomonof‘input’moregenerally.Thesecondsectionl
5、ooksatoutputdevices.Thisismuchshortersection,andlooksprimarilyatvisualoutput.Thissectionbrieflylooksatwhattechnologyiscurrentlyavailable(themostwidely-usedbeingtheconverstionalCRTattachedtomostpersonalcomputers)andalsoatdisplayswhicharejustbecomingavailable(suchastheflat-paneldisplaysusedi
6、nportableandhandheldcomputers).Wewillalsolookatsomeoftheissuesrelatingtothehazardsofdisplaysandsomeoftheregulationsdesignedtolessenthosehazards.InputDevicesThissectionisessentiallyacatalogueofinputdevices.Severaltypesofdevicearediscussedalongwithsomeoftheiradavantagesanddisadvantages,andso
