3、dListofThreatenedSpecies;NotingthatmarineturtleshaveapriorityforconservationactionthroughtheirlistingintherespectivetextsorappendicesoftheConventionontheConservationofMigratorySpeciesofWildAnimals(CMS),theConventiononInternationalTradeinEndangeredSpeciesofWildFaunaandFlora
4、(CITES),theAfricanConventionontheConservationofNatureandNaturalResources,andtheConventionfortheProtection,ManagementandDevelopmentoftheMarineandCoastalEnvironmentoftheEasternAfricanRegionandrelatedprotocols;Recognisingthattheconservationofmarineturtlesandtheirhabitatsisspe
5、cificallyaddressedintheMemorandumofUnderstandingonASEANSeaTurtleConservationandProtectionandtheMemorandumofAgreementontheTurtleIslandsHeritageProtectedArea(TIHPA);Recognisingthatotherinternationalinstruments,includingtheUnitedNationsConventiononLawoftheSea(UNCLOS),theFAOCo
6、deofConductforResponsibleFisheries,theInternationalConventionforthePreventionofPollutionfromShips(MARPOL),andtheConventiononBiologicalDiversity(CBD),arerelevanttotheconservationofmarineturtlesandtheirhabitats;Awarethatexistingregionalorganisations,includingtheAssociationof
7、SoutheastAsianNations(ASEAN),theRegionalOrganisationfortheConservationoftheEnvironmentoftheRedSeaandGulfofAden(PERSGA),andtheRegionalOrganisationfortheProtectionoftheMarineEnvironment(ROPME)operateprogrammesrelevanttotheconservationofmarineturtlesandtheirhabitats;Recognisi
