3、pezoidal-ridgewaveguide,antipodal-ridgewaveguide,etc..Inordertomeetsomerequirementsinmodernmicrowavetransmitsystems,itneedstoresearchsomenewwaveguideswithespecialsections.Theninproductionandpractice,owingtosomereasons,suchasproduction,assembly,use,andsoon,whichcanbringaboutd
4、eformationsofridgewaveguide.Anditishelpfultoreinforcepracticeusetoanalyzedeformationsofridgewaveguidetoinfluenceoftransmissioncharacteristic.Therearefourchaptersinthispaper.Infirstchapter,developmentofridgewaveguide,andtheimportanceinpracticeofthispaperareintroduced;Insecond
5、chapter,therearewaveguidetheory,thetransmissioncharacteristicsofthenormalrectangularwaveguide;Inthirdchapter,thefiniteelementmethodemployedinthispaperisintroduced;Infourthchapter,thetransmissioncharacteristicsofmanykindsofridgewaveguideindifferentdeformationsisobtainedbyempl
6、oyingthefiniteelementmethod.Onthebasisofexistingdata,choosinggeometrydimensionofridgewaveguideinthebettertransmissioncharacteristics,thecalculationresultsarecomparedwiththedatathatpublishedonforeignandhomeauthoritativeissues,comparisonbetweentheliteraturedataandthecomputedre
7、sultsinthispapercanbefoundthattheresultsinthispaperagreewellwiththeliteraturedata,whichprovethatthemethodandtheprogramareeffectiveandaccurateenough.ThepaperusesthefiniteelementPDEtoolboxintheMatlabenvironmenttoobtainthetransmissioncharacteristicsofthewaveguideindisplacementd
