3、sses,meansthatcompositionsofservicescanbemadethatrepresenttheinsilicoexperimentsorprocessesthatbioinformaticiansperform.Dataintegrationthroughworkflowsdependsonbeingabletoknowwhatservicesexistandwheretofindthoseservices.Thelargenumberofservicesandtheoperationst
4、heyperform,theirarbitrarynamingandlackofdocumentation,however,meanthattheycanbedifficulttouse.Theworkflowsthemselvesarecompositeprocessesthatcouldbepooledandreusedbutonlyiftheytoocanbefoundandunderstood.Thusappropriatecuration,includingsemanticmark-up,wouldenab
