3、ionprivacyandlocation-aware1dressthisproblem,wedesign,implement,andevaluateLP-Guardian,apps,wesurveyed180smartphoneusers.Werecruited70partic-anovelandcomprehensiveframeworkforlocationprivacyprotec-ipantsthroughsocialnetworkannouncementsandtherestthroughtionforAndroidsmartphoneusers.LP-Gu
4、ardianovercomestheAmazonMechanicalTurk.WechoseMechanicalTurkworkersshortcomingsofexistingapproachesbyaddressingthetracking,whohaveachieved“masterquali?cation,"i.e.,thosewhohaveshownpro?ling,andidenti?cationthreatswhilemaintainingappfunction-highcompetencyofperformingtasks.ality.Wehaveimp
5、lementedandevaluatedLP-GuardianonAn-We?ndthesurveyresultssupportingthedeploymentofalo-droid4.3.1.OurevaluationresultsshowthatLP-Guardianeffec-cationprivacyprotectionmechanism.78%oftheparticipantsbe-tivelythwartstheprivacythreats,withoutdeterioratingtheuser’slievethatappsaccessingtheirloc
