3、.Asisknown,eachversionhasitsmeritsanddemerits,sowhatweshoulddoistotakeupthemeritswhiletodiscardthedemerits.Inthissituation,thispaperintendstomakeacomparisononthethreewell-receivedversionsof“OfStudy”undertheguidanceofthefunctionalequivalencetheorysoastogivereadersa
4、comprehensiveviewofthethreeversionsonmeaning,styleandaestheticvalue.Indoingso,thereadersmighthaveadeepunderstandingoftheessenceoftheoriginaltext,andatthesametime,somevaluablesuggestionsmightbemadetohelpfuturetranslationpractice.Thispaperconsistsofthreechapters.Inc
