5、yforthedevelopmentoftheEngineering,ColbúnhascommissionedINCOSTASthepreparationoftheseismicriskstudyandthedefinitionofadesignspectrum.ThisreportprovidesaseismicriskstudyvalidfortwositesintheareaofBahíadeCoronel,locatedsome30kmtothesouthfromConcepción.ThefirstsiteisPuntaPuchoco,locatedtoasideofth
6、ecurrentport“Jureles”,atcoordinates37.07oSand73.17oW.Theothersiteislocatedinthesamebay,atadistanceofaround4-5km,inthesectorofPortCoronel,atcoordinates37.03oSand73.14oW.Thestudyconsistsoftwomainparts.Thefirstonecoverstheseismicthreatstudybasedonthemaximumhorizontalsoilaccelerationexpectableinthe
7、siteforacertainlevelofdesigndefinedinprinciple(Probabilityofexceedanceatagiventimeinterval).Thesecondpartincludesthedesignspectrumproposedonthebasisofthesoilproperties.Thestudyalsoprovidesthewaystomodifythespectruminaccordancewith
