2、ningsystemandaffectsthequalityofsignaltransmission.ThispaperlaunchedaseriesofresearchontheUWBtime-domainantennainindoorpositioningsystem,analysismethodoftime-domainperformanceanddesignofantennaincluded.Maincontentsareasfollows:1.DesignoflinearlypolarizedantennasAccordingtotheapplication
3、requirementsofintelligenttransportationsystem,monopoleantennaisdesignedforshortdistanceapplicationandbow-tieforfardistanceapplicationasbasestationantennas.Disconeantennaisdesignedastagantennaaccordingtoitsapplicationenvironment.Throughfrequency-domainsimulationandtest,resultsshowthatthe
4、designedantennascanmeetthedemandofapplication.2.DesignofcircularlypolarizedantennaAccordingtotheapplicationrequirementsofrotator,acircularlypolarizedtime-domainantennaisdesignedastagantennatoavoidpolarizationmismatch,whichisdesignedfromArchimedesspiralantenna.Frequency-domainsimulationa
5、ndtestshowthatthedesignedantennascanmeetthedemandofapplication.3.Analysisoftime-domainperformancesAccordingtotheneedsofevaluation,themethodsofsimulationandtestarestudiedtoanalyzetheantenna’stimedomainperformance,andsomeoperationalmethodsaregiven.Time-domainperformancesofthedesignedanten
6、nasinthepaperareanalyzed.Resultsshowthattime-domainanalysisisconsistentwithfrequency-domainsimulationandtest.Ontheoneband,theconsistencyprovestheaccuracyofanalysismethod,andontheotherhanditshowsthatthedesignedantennadesignsconformstotherequirementsofthesystem.Keywords:UWBpositioningtech
