1、AbstractCognitiveRadiotechnologyallowsthesecondaryuserstosharethespectrumresourceswithprimaryusersbasedonthepremisethattheinterferenceintroducedtotheprimaryusersisnotserious.Thusthespectrumutilizationcanbeimproved.OFDMhashighcapabilitytoallocatefrequencyres
2、ourcesadaptively,soitcanbeappliedtoCognitiveRadio.Inthispaper,theresearchoncognitiveradioresourceallocationalgorithmsisbasedonOFDMtechnologywhichconsideringtheprimaryusers’interferencelimitationandthecognitiveusers’transmissionlimitation.Thespectrumutilizat
3、ioncanbefurtherimprovedbyoptimallyallocatethesubcarriersandthetransmitpowerofthesubcarrier.Thethesisfirstlyintroducesthecognitiveradio’sprincipleconcept,keytechnologiesandOFDM-basedcognitiveradio.Thenwemainlyresearchtheresourceallocationalgorithmbasedonthef
4、airnessamongsecondaryusersandthesubcarriermatchingandpowerallocationalgorithmsinrelayedOFDMbasedcognitivesystemrespectivelybothfromtheratemaximizationaspect.Weconsidertheproblemofthemaximizationofsecondaryusers’rateassumptionundertheinterferencepowerconstra
5、intatprimaryusers,thetransmitpowerconstraintofsecondaryusersandthefairnessamongthesecondaryusers.Anoptimalresourceallocationalgorithmandasuboptimalalgorithmthatreducesoperationalcomplexityaregiven.Simulationresultsshowthecorrectnessandeffectivenessoftheprop
6、osedalgorithms.Inthiswork,wealsoresearchedtheresourceallocationalgorithmsindecodeandforwardrelayedOFDMbasedcognitivesystem.Inviewofthecurrentalgorithmsrequirethecognitiveradiotransmitterhastheinstantaneouschannelstateinformation,weuseaprobabilisticmodelofin
7、terferencethresholdconstraintwhereinterferencecanbeguaranteedinastatisticmanner.Inthispaper,theproposedresourceallocationalgorithmrequirestheknowledgeofchannelfadingstatisticsinsteadofinstantaneouschannelgainamongthesecondaryusers’transmitterandprimaryusers
