2、etworks.Intheunicastcase,wehaveproposedaroutingschemeInthispaper,weaddresstheproblemofreal-timevideocalledRobustMultipathSourceRoutingprotocol(RMPSR)communicationoverwirelessadhocnetworks.Fortheuni-tosupportmultipathvideocommunicationoverwirelessadcastcase,weproposearobustmu
3、ltipathsourceroutinghocnetworks[19].Wecomparetheperformanceofmul-protocolforbothinteractiveandvideoon-demandappli-tipathvideotransmissionwithRMPSRwiththatofvideocations.Simulationsshowthatourproposedschemeen-transmissionwithotherroutingprotocolsforbothinterac-hancesthequalit
4、yofvideoapplicationsascomparedtoex-tivevideoandvideoon-demandapplications.istingprotocols.Forthemulticastcase,weproposemulti-Multicastisanessentialtechnologyformanyapplica-pletreemulticaststreamingasawaytoproviderobustnesstions,suchasgroupvideoconferencingandvideodistribu-fo
5、rvideomulticastapplications.Speci?cally,weproposeation,andresultsinbandwidthsavingsascomparedtomul-distributeddoubledisjointtreemulticastroutingprotocoltipleunicastsessions.Tothebestofourknowledge,multi-calledSerialMDTMR,andcharacterizeitsperformancecastvideocommunicationove
6、rwirelessadhocnetworksviasimulations.WeshowthatSerialMDTMRachievesrea-hasnotbeenstudiedextensively.Inthispaper,wepro-sonabletreeconnectivitywhilemaintainingdisjointnessofposemultipletreevideomulticastcommunicationtopro-twotrees,andthatitoutperformssingletreemulticastcom-vide
