1、AbstractTheTawenchahanxiFe-polymetallicdepositislocatedinthesoutheastsection(probably300degreesdirection)oftheQimantageHillinQinghaiprovince,whichisabout200kmfromthenorthwestofGeermucity.Inrecentyears,itisanothermedium-sizedFe-polymetallicdepositaftertheShaqiu,ChangshanandNiukutoudeposits,
2、whichcontainsmorethan40milliontonsofprovenironoreresources.Theorebodyandore-formingrockmassarecoveredbyQuaternaryeoliansand.ThegeotectonicpositionofminingareaislocatedintheNorthQimantageEarlyPaleozoicmagmaticarcbelt,whichisalsolocatedinthenorthofNalinggelefractureintheEastKunLun.Thedeposit
3、islocatedamongeastlongitude292°31'-92°52',northlatitude36°55'-37°00',withatotalareaabout100km.Throughanalysisthegeologicalcharacteristics,themineralizationalterationzoningofthedepositandgeochemicalcharacteristicsoftheore-formingrockmass,thisarticleisinordertofindoutthegeologicalgenesisofth
4、edeposit,mineralization,orecontrollingfactorsandprospectingmodel.Bycomparingwithotherdeposits,inthelargerareaestablishthemaintypeoforedepositandsummarizethemetallogenicregularity,soastoguidethemineralexplorationandpractice.Finally,relatedtotherelationshipoftectonicmagmaticmineralizationinQ
5、imantageareaandthegeologicalcharacteristicsandgenesisofthedeposit,wegetthemainresearchresultsareasfollows:(1)CardingsummeduptheconclusionsthatinEarlyTriassicapproximatelyduring(242~239Ma),thewesternofEast-Kunlunorogenicbelt(Qimantagearea)isduringthetransitionstagewhichisintheendoftheoceani
6、ccrustsubductiontothebeganofthecontinentalcrustcollision,whiletranslateintostretchafterthecollisionstageduring(237~204Ma).Atthesametimethemantle-derivedmagmainvasionandcrust-mantlemixingactionhasoccurredonalargescale.Especially,theMiddle-LateTriassic(210~237Ma)granitoidsarepredominantandmo
7、stcloselyrelatedwithmineralization.(2)BytheLA-ICP-MSzirconU-Pbdating,thispapergetstheporphyriticgranodioriteintheZK25408borehole,(236.12±1.2Ma)Ma,whichrepresentthemagmaticcrystallizationage,belongingtotheTriassic(T2).Accordancingwiththepreviousscholars’results
