2、rdasphaltwasmonitoredfromJune2006toJuly2007forhydrologicdifferencesinpavementsurfacerunoffvolumes,totalout?owvolumes,peak?owrates,andtimetopeak.ThefourpermeablesectionswereperviousconcretePC,twotypesofpermeableinterlockingconcretepavementPICPwithsmall-sizedaggreg
3、ateinthejointsandhaving12.9%PICP1and8.5%PICP2opensurfacearea,andconcretegridpaversCGPTlledwithsand.Thesitewaslocatedinpoorlydrainedsoils,andallpermeablesectionswereunderlainbyacrushedstonebaselayerwithaperforatedunderdrain.AllpermeablepavementssigniTcantlyreduc
4、edsurfacerunoffvolumesandpeak?owratesfromthoseofasphaltp0.01.Ofthepermeablepavements,CGPgeneratedthegreatestsurfacerunoffvolumesp0.01.ThePICP1andCGPcellsgeneratedsigniTcantlylowertotalout?owvolumesthanallothersectionsevaluatedp0.01,andhadthelowestpeak?owsand
5、thelongesttimetopeak.TheresponseofthePICP1cellwaslikelyduetoanincreasedbasestoragevolumeresultingfromanelevatedpipeunderdrainwhereastheCGPcellresponsewasattributedtowaterretentioninthesandTlllayer.Overall,differentpermeablepavementsectionsperformedsimilarly,butweresu
