4、ion.ThetwocommunicationtunnelsofJinpingCascade2HydroelectricPowerStationis17.5kmlongand2525mdeepinmaximalbury-depth.Intheconstructionregionthemaximumofprincipalgeo—stressreached54Mpa.Theregionbelongsinhighgeo—stressarea.Excavationoftunnelwillleadtolocalgeotectonicstres
5、sreleaseandstressredistributionaroundthetunnel.Basedonthemoderndesigntheoryoftunnelsconstructionthattheadjoiningrockisregardedasprimaryload-bearingstructure,thisthesishasmaderesearchesonthestabilityoftunnelmotherrockunderthehJighgeo—stress.Firstly,thepapermakesaglobala
