6、iceproductionandthreatensfoodsecurityintheworld.ItisveryimportanttobreedhybridricerestorerlineswithWPBHresistanceforriceproduction.TheWBPHresistancelocusqSI4fromGL77andGL84wereintroducedintothesusceptiblerestorerlinesbymolecularmarker-assistedselection(MAS),traditionalbreedingmetho
7、dsandWBPH-resistanceidentificationinmultiplefields.ThreeimprovedlinesofR38,R46andR58,conferringWBPHresistanceandwithgoodagronomiccharacteristicswereobtainedbymolecularmarkertestforthetargetgenesanddifferentparentalgeneticbackgroundanalysis.TheresultsindicatedthattheWBPHresistanceof
