2、etothefactorsofthealtitudeofthebridgefloorabovetheseelevelandflowoverstructures.Therearemanyreportsofcrosswindinducedaccidentswhichmaycauseheavytrafficjams.Theproblemsoftrafficsafetyundercrosswindarereceivingincreasingconcerning.Windbarrierisamainmethodtoassuretrafficsa
3、fety,especiallyunderstrongcrosswind.ComputationalFluidDynamicsisanewsubjectoriginatedfromabout40yearsago,whichhavebeenappliedinlotsofre:gonsinover10years.Inthisthesis,onthebasisofCFDtheories,relyingonstrongmodel—buildingandanalysisplatformofFLUENT.numericalsimulationisc
4、arriedouttoinvestigatetheinfluenceofwindbarrierOnwindenviromentabovethebridgefloor.Firstlynumericalsimulationsofthewindenvironmentonthebridgefloorundercrosswindwithoutwindbarrier,withfullwindbarrierandwithlocalwindbarrierareperformedtoanalysetheeffectsofthewindbarrieron
5、thewindenvironmentonthebridgefloor.Thenthecriticalwindspeedsofsafetydrivingconcerningfourtypicalvehiclesarecalculatedconsideringwindspeeds,vehicledimensions,roadsurfaceconditionsandvehiclespeedsandanalysisofeffectsofthefullwindbarrierandlocalwindbarrierontrafficsafetyof
6、variousvehiclesareperformed.Finally3DmodelsoftrainsundercrosswindwithandwithoutwindbarrierarebuiltbaseontheaccidentoftrainoverturninginSinkiang.Fromthecalculationresultsof3Dturbulenceflowovertrains,pressuredistribution,pathlinesandaerodynamicforcesofmodeltrainsareanalyz
