2、U來(lái)壓縮,效率低且成本高。本文首先介紹了JPEG2000標(biāo)準(zhǔn)及實(shí)現(xiàn)方法以及GPU(GraphicProcessingUnit)和CUDA(ComputeUnifiedDeviceArchitecture)的工作原理。然后,根據(jù)GPU并行計(jì)算的特點(diǎn),提出了以GPU作為協(xié)處理器加速JPEG2000編碼的技術(shù)方案。為了充分利用GPU的計(jì)算能力,本文提出了一種GPU結(jié)合CPU的并行編碼架構(gòu),設(shè)計(jì)了DWT分段提升和交替存儲(chǔ)的實(shí)現(xiàn)方案,并在此基礎(chǔ)上實(shí)現(xiàn)了MCT(MultiComponentTransform)和DWT(DiscreteWavele
3、tTransform)算法。接著,對(duì)本文設(shè)計(jì)的編碼器與傳統(tǒng)編碼器在編碼速度和解壓縮圖像的峰值信噪比等方面作了性能比較,實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果表明,在無(wú)損和有損壓縮模式下,本文提出的架構(gòu)、算法和實(shí)現(xiàn)方案,相對(duì)于傳統(tǒng)的編碼器,可以在不升級(jí)硬件的情況下,大大提高了高分辨率圖像的編碼速度,同時(shí)又保持了編碼質(zhì)量。隨著GPU的可編程和計(jì)算能力進(jìn)一步增強(qiáng),將GPU作為CPU的協(xié)處理器應(yīng)用在更多領(lǐng)域,這種二者協(xié)同工作的架構(gòu)必將會(huì)越來(lái)越被人們廣泛接受。關(guān)鍵詞:JPEG2000;并行計(jì)算;圖形處理單元;計(jì)算統(tǒng)一設(shè)備體系結(jié)構(gòu)南京郵電大學(xué)碩士研究生學(xué)位論文Abstract

5、tyofdataisverylarge,itwouldbelowefficiencyandhi.ghcostifcompressedbyCPU.ThethesisbrieflyintroducestheJPEG2000standardanditsalgorithmandtheoperationprincipleofGPU(GraphicProcessingUnit)basedonCUDA(ComputeUnifiedDeviceArchitecture).AccordingtothecharacteristicsofGPU,weput
6、forwardaschemethatusesGPUasallefficientcoprocessortospeeduptheJPEG2000encoding.TomakefulluseofthecalculationcapacityofGPU,wedevelopaparallelarchitectureforencodingbasedonGPUandCPUsystem,andaseriesofthecodingalgorithmwereproposed,specificallyanalyzeandinnovatetheMCTandDW
