2、heproposedantennaconsistsoftwosquaremeshedpatches,whichgeneratetwoorthogonallinearpolarizationsattwoslightlydifferentfrequencies.Acommonproximityfeedlineisuti-lizedtoexcitethetwopatches,anda90phasedifferencecanbeachievedbetweenthetworesonantfrequencies,wh
3、ichisneededforcircularpolarization.Theoverallstructureofthisantennaishighlycompatiblewithsolarpanels;thus,itisofgreatsigni?canceforsmallsatelliteapplications.Themeasuredresultsofthean-tennaprototypeshowthatithasa3-dBaxial-ratio(AR)bandwidthof15MHz,a10-dBi
