4、gramminglanguagebytheDanish/GreenlandicprogrammerRasmusLerdorf.LerdorfinitiallycreatedthesePersonalHomePageToolstoreplaceasmallsetofPerlscriptshehadbeenusingtomaintainhispersonalhomepage.Thetoolswereusedtoperformtaskssuchasdisplayinghisrésuméandrecordinghowmuchtraffichispagewasreceiv
5、ing.HecombinedthesebinarieswithhisFormInterpretertocreatePHP/FI,whichhadmorefunctionality.PHP/FIincludedalargerimplementationfortheCprogramminglanguageandcouldcommunicatewithdatabases,enablingthebuildingofsimple,dynamicwebapplications.LerdorfreleasedPHPpubliclyonJune8,1995toaccelerat
6、ebuglocationandimprovethecode.ThisreleasewasnamedPHPversion2andalreadyhadthebasicfunctionalitythatPHPhastoday.ThisincludedPerl-likevariables,formhandling,andtheabilitytoembedHTML.ThesyntaxwassimilartoPerlbutwasmorelimited,simpler,andlessconsistent.ZeevSuraskiandAndiGutmans,twoIsraeli
