3、ntermsmechanismsthatareintendedtoenabletheuseofTCP/IPforwirelesssensornetworks:spatialIPaddressassignment,ofcommunication.Instead,weproposeaspatialIPaddresssharedcontextheadercompression,applicationoverlayrouting,assignmentschemethatprovidessemi-uniqueIPaddressestoandd
4、istributedTCPcaching(DTC).Sensornetworksbasedonsensornodes.TCP/IPhavetheadvantageofbeingabletodirectlycommunicateHeaderoverhead.TheprotocolsintheTCP/IPsuitehavewithaninfrastructureconsistingeitherofawiredIPnetworkaverylargeheaderoverhead,particularlycomparedtospe-orofI
5、P-basedwirelesstechnologysuchasGPRS.Wehaveimplementedpartsofourmechanismsbothinasimulatorcializedsensornetworkcommunicationprotocols.Webelieveenvironmentandonactualsensornodes.Ourpreliminaryresultsthatthesharedcontextnatureofsensornetworksmakesheaderarepromising.compre
