3、dFIDcrystallizationmethodsinasingledevice.TheFIDSlipChipwasdesignedtoscreenmultiplereagents,eachatmultiplediffusionequilibrationtimes,andwasvalidatedbyscreeningconditionsforcrystallizationoftwoproteins,enoyl-CoAhydratasefromMycobacteriumtuberculosisanddihydrofolatereductase/thymidylates
4、ynthasefromBabesiabovis,against48differentreagentsat?vedifferentequilibrationtimeseach,consuming12μLofeachproteinforatotalof480experimentsusingthreeSlipChips.ThecompositeSlipChipwasdesignedtoscreenmultiplereagents,eachatmultiplemixingratiosandmultipleequilibrationtimes,andwasvalidatedby
5、screeningconditionsforcrystallizationoftwoproteins,enoyl-CoAhydratasefromMycobacteriumtuberculosisanddihydrofolatereductase/thymidylatesynthasefromBabesiabovis.Topreventcross-contaminationwhilekeepingthesolutionintheneckchannelsforFIDstable,theplatesoftheSlipChipwereetchedwithapatternof
6、nanowells.Thisnanopatternwasusedtoincreasethecontactangleofaqueoussolutionsonthesurfaceofthesilanizedglass.ThecompositeSlipChipincreasedthenumberofsuccessfulcrystallizationconditionsandidenti?edmoreconditionsforcrystallizationthanseparateFIDandmicrobatchscreenings.Crystallizationexperim
