4、rage,fuelcells,etc.Moreover,theirwavepropertiescanbeexploitedtoperformdiffraction,phase-contrastanddark-?eldimagingexperiments.Theirmagneticmomentallowsforresolvingmagneticpropertiesinbulksamples.Thisreviewwillfocusonrecentapplicationsofneutronimagingtechniquesinbothmaterialsresearchand
5、fundamentalscienceillustratedbyexamplesselectedfromdifferentareas.Introductiontothegenerationanduseofrenewableenergy[14–21]–butalsoFreeneutronsinteractdifferentlywithmatterthanelectrons,examplesfrombiology[22–24],paleontology[25–29],andcul-protonsorX-rays,andhenceimagingtechniquesbasedo
