4、entAccountingOf?ce(GAO)foundthat29percentoflong-termcarefacilitieswerecitedforsafetyandcareviolationsthatcausedactualharmorimmediatejeopardytotheirresidentsinmid-2000(GAO2003),reinforcingconcernsoverqualityofcareinthatindustrydocumentedsincelongbe-fore(NAP2001).Inrespons
