5、anbetheinternal,kinaestheticsenseofourownbodiesindanceorsport;orthethrillofseeinganartorcraftwellperformed.Consider,too,howideas,insights,andsolutions,canbedeemedbeautiful.Amongscientists,Einstein'sTheoryofRelativityisunanimouslypraisedforitsextraordinarybeauty. Yale'sDavidGelernter,aprofessorofp
6、uterscience,hasarguedconvincinglythatlustforbeautyhasdriventhegreattechnologicaldiscoveries.Itisnoaccient,hewouldclaim,thatMitchell'sSpitfire,withitsMerlinenginesanddistinctivewings,couldhelpwinawarwhilealsoseemingwonderfultotheeyeandear. Andjustastheplanforabankrobbery,abridge,oraputerprogramcan
