3、signatedasA,B,C,andD;epitopesassociatedtoneutralizingactivitybeinglocatedinsitesA,B,andC.OneMAbdirectedtothehemagglutininHE(gp140/gp65)glycoproteininhibitedthehemagglutinatingactivityofthevirus,buthadnoneutralizingactivity.ComparisonofQuebecenteropathogenicBCVisolatesusingpolyclonalantiserumandMA
4、bsdirectedtotheSglycoproteinconfirmedtheircloseantigenicrelationship,butalsorevealedtheoccurrenceofatleastthreedistinctantigenicsubgroups.AntigenicdomainDwashighlyconservedamongBCVisolates,aswellasnon-neutralizingepitopesassignedtoantigenicdomainsAandC.TheMinnesotastrainofturkeyentericcoronavirus
5、couldbedistinguishedfromBCVisolatesbyMAbsdirectedtoepitopesofantigenicdomainC,whereashumancoronavirusHCV-OC43couldbedistinguishedbyMAbsdirectedtoepitopesofantigenicdomainA.Theporcinehemagglutinatingencephalomyelitisviruscouldbedistinguishedfromtheotherhemagglutinatingcoronavirusesbyneutralizingep
