3、longwithshapememoryandcorrosionbehaviorofCu一11.8%AI一3.7%Ni—1%MnandCu_11%A15.6%Mnshapememoryalloys(SMAs)werecomparativelystudied.Theinfluenceofgrainrefinementonthepropertieswasstudiedbyopticalmicroscopy(OM),scanningelectronmicroscopy(SEM),differentialscann
4、ingcalorimetry(DSC),potentiodynamicpolarizationsandbendandtensiletests.Staticrecrystallizationandkineticgraingrowthshowarapidrecrystallizationinthefirst15sofannealingat800。Cfollowedbygraingrowths.Theminimumgrainsizesobtainedafter15sare90and260gmforCu—Al—N
5、i—MnandCu—Al—Mn.respectively.Tensiletestsshowtypicalthree—stagecurvesforbothalloys,anditisseenthatalloysexhibithighfracturestressandstrainaftergrainrefinement.Microstmcturalobservationsshowzig—zagmorphologyofmartensiteintheCu—A卜Ni—Mnandcoexistenceofandint
6、heCu—A卜Mn,whichwereconfirmedbydiferentialscanningcalorimetryresults.Theshapememoryratios(卵.ofthealloysbeforethermomechanicaltreatment,andafterthermomechanica1annealingat800。Cfordifierenttimeupto15minfollowedbywaterquenching,wereevaluated.Inaddition,corosi
7、onbehaviorofalloysaftergrainrefinementwasanalyzedbymeansofpotentiodynamicpolarizationmeasurements.Theresultsshowedthattheanodicreactionsweredominatedbydissolutionofcopper,andCu—A卜Ni-MnalloyexhibitsabettercorosionresistancethanCu—A1一Mnalloy.Keywords:shapem
