6、turalexplorationforlowpowerhighperformancenetworkrouterdesigns.Keywordslowpower;greenrouter;routingforwarding;routinglookup;energyanalysis摘要隨著互聯(lián)網(wǎng)的發(fā)展,現(xiàn)有路由器體系結(jié)構(gòu)在性能、復(fù)雜性和節(jié)能等方面存在許多難以克服的問題,如何實現(xiàn)高效節(jié)能的轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)機制是綠色高性能路由器設(shè)計面臨的重大挑戰(zhàn).基于邊交換邊轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)思想提出一種邊轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)邊交換(forwardinginswitching,F(xiàn)IS)機制,通過模糊轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)流水交換減少了路由器轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)和交換階段的存儲需求和訪存次數(shù).該
7、機制復(fù)用多個低速節(jié)點構(gòu)成多級流水線結(jié)構(gòu),通過低成本執(zhí)行部件的規(guī)?;\行提高交換性能和IP查找速率,可降低報文查表交換的硬件實現(xiàn)復(fù)雜度.建立了先轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)后交換(forwardingbeforeswitching,F(xiàn)BS)機制和FIS機制的能耗模型,使用不同模型模擬內(nèi)部緩存、輸入輸出端口等具有不同結(jié)構(gòu)的節(jié)點,仿真實驗證明FIS機制比現(xiàn)有的FBS機制減少約12.5的能耗.提出的分析模型適用于可擴展和綠色節(jié)能
