5、workandsharetheirresourcesbyfunctioningasclientswhentheyneedtodownloadandtheycanfunctionasaserverwhentheyneedtoserveresourcestootherusers.DuetothedistributednatureofP2PsystemsthereisnocentralpointofattackbutsuchkindofanarchitecturemakesP2Pnetworksverypronetomaliciousattacksbyother
6、peerslikesendingTrojans,Worms,Viruses,Fakefilesetc.Reputationsystemsprovideawayforbuildingtrustthroughsocialcontrolbyutilizingcommunitybasedfeedbackaboutpastexperiencesofpeerstohelpmakingrecommendationandjudgmentonqualityandreliabilityofthetransactions.Thechallengeofbuildingsuchar
7、eputationbasedtrustmechanisminaP2Psystemistoeffectivelycopeupwithvariousmaliciousbehaviorsofpeerssuchasprovidingfakeormisleadingfeedbackaboutotherpeers.Themostgeneralmechanismofestablishingtrustamongpeersisusingthereputationofthepeersprovidingtheresource.Theuserscanratethereliabil
