MembraneFoulingSimulator實驗室膜污染刺激器global-membraneMembraneFoulingSimulatorTheMembraneFoulingSimulator(MFS)issmallmonitortosimulatethefoulingunderthesameconditionsthatarepresentintheleadelementofaplant.GlobalMembrainsofferstheMFStoavoidlongtermtrialanderrortestswithpilotsandonafullscaleplant.?WiththeuseoftheMembraneFoulingSimulator?membranetesting?iseasier.Thefirstprototypesweredescribedin:WaterScience&Technology(2007,Vol55No8–9p.197–205)TheMembraneFoulingSimulatorcanbeusedto?detectfouling?ofanykindandinanykindofwater.Itcanbeusedforinorganic-,organic-orbio-foulinginanyfeedwaterquality.TheMembraneFoulingSimulatorcanbeusedinparalleltoevaluatesimultaneouslythefoulingremovingpropertiesofdifferentpre-treatmentstrategies.Besides,itcanbeusedtosimultaneouslymonitorthebiofoulingtendenciesofthewateratdifferentpointsinextendeddrinkingwaternetworks.TheMFSisdesignedtoberepresentativetotheconditionsinspiralwoundmembraneelements(Vrouwenvelderetal.,2006).Thisrepresentativenessincludesthespacerchannelheightandmaterialsused(membraneandspacers),thelinearvelocityofthewaterandflowdistributionoverthewidthofthemonitor.ThefactthatthemaximumpressureontheMembraneFoulingSimulator(MFS)islimitedto5bars,excludesthepossibilityofpermeateproductioninthecell.However,thishasbeenvalidatednottoinfluencetherepresentativenessoftheMFS.AcomparisonstudyoftheMFSandspiralwoundmembranemodulesshowedthesamepressuredropdevelopmentintimewiththesamerateoffoulingaccumulation(Vrouwenvelderetal.,2006).AvailabilityoftheMembraneFoulingStimulator TheMembraneFoulingSimulatorsarepresentlyavailableina16L/hr(MFS16)orforlaboratoriesina1L/hrcell.ItisoptionaltouseaPMMA(transparent)orPVCtop.Theinsidemeasurementscanbeproducedtothecustomersdesires,dependingonmembraneandfeedspacerthickness.Specificcuttingmallsareavailable.StandardtheMembraneFoulingSimulatorismadetofittheTrisepTS80.TheMembraneFoulingSimulatorscanbemanufacturedassuchasinareadytousesetupwithpressurereducingvalve,flowindicatorandflowcontroller.TheMembraneFoulingSimulatorcanbedeliveredwithafeedpump,dataloggingandremotemonitoring,alarmingandinteraction.ThereadytouseMembraneFoulingSimulatorssetupsareavailableforbrackishandseawatertesting.
