4、dtheeffectsofNOonleafphotosyntheticrate,relativewatercontentandantioxidantsystemofriceunderdroughtstress.Afterfoliarsprayof100μmol/Lsodiumnitroprusside(SNP,aNOdonor)and/or100μmol/LcPTIO(aNOscavengers),japonicanipponbare(OryzasativaL)wassubjectedtodroughtstressd
5、uringtilleringstageinaplastictank.Riceleavesweresampledforfurtherphysiologicalanalysisatthesixthdayaftertreatment.Resultsshowedthatfoliarsprayof100μmol/LSNPenhancedricetolerancetodroughtstress,whichshowedhigherphotosyntheticrateandrelativewatercontent,butlowerm
6、alonaldehyde(MDA)andhydrogenperoxide(H2O2)contentsinleaveswhencomparedwiththecontrol,foliarsprayingwithdeionizedwater.Bycontrast,thecPTIOtreatmentsignificantlyreducedleafphotosyntheticrateandrelativewatercontent,andsignificantlyincreasedleafMDAandH2O2contents.F
7、urtherstudyindicatedthatfoliarapplicationofSNPsignificantlyincreasedsuperoxidedismutase(SOD)andcatalase(CAT)activities,butobservablysuppressedascorbicacid(AsA)contentandtotalglutathione(GSH+GSSH)contentsunderdroughtstress.However,ithadnosignificantinfluenceonpe
8、roxidase(POD)activity,ascorbateperoxidase(APX)activityandtherewerenosignificantdifferenceamongthefourtreatments.ItwasconcludedthatnitricoxidemightincreasetheactivityofSODand
