4、utiveexpression,isoneofthemostimportantmembersoftheHSP７０family．ToexploretheadaptationmechanismsofL．striatellustoenvironments,LHSC７０expressionprofilingandfunctionwereanalyzed．TheresultsshowedthecompletecDNAofLHSC７０is１９７１bpinlength,whichencodesaproteinof６５６aminoacids,withamole
5、cularweightof７１．６kDandtheoreticalisoelectricpointof５．４６．LHSC７０containsthreesignaturesequencesofHSP７０familyandcarriesatypicalHSP７０familystructuralsignature．Thephylogenictreeshoweditshares９９％homologywithHSC７０ofNilaparvatalugens．TheexpressionofLHSC７０wasassociatedwithlarvalinsta
6、r．TheexpressionlevelofLHSC７０washighestinfemaleadultsandwassimilarinmaleadultsandlarvaeatvariousinstars．Thedifferenceintheexpressionofthegenewasnotsignificantafter１０,１６,２２,２６,３０,３４,３８and４２℃treatments．DownregulatedexpressionlevelofLHSC７０duetoRNAisignificantlydecreasedthetolera
7、nceofthefemaletoheatstress,whileexertedalessinfluenceontheoviposition．TheseresultssuggestedthatLHSC７０isa７０kDheatshockcognateproteinandisnotinducedbyheatstress,butitcontributestheconstitutiveresistancetoheatwithoutcloserelationtoreproductioninL．striatellus．Keywords:Laodelphax
