4、C(vitaminC)isanessentialnutrienttohumanhealth.DuetolackofLGgulonolactoneoxidase,thelastenzymeinvolvedinVCsynthesispathway,humancouldnotsynthesizeVCbythemselves.RiceisanimportantfoodcropanditsnutritionalvaluecouldbegreatlyimprovedbyincreasingtheVCcontentinriceseeds.Pho
5、sphomannomutase(PMM)isanimportantenzymeinVCsynthesispathway,catalyzingtheinterconversionfrommannose6Gphosphatefrommannose1Gphosphate.Inthisstudy,OryzaPMMgene(OsPMM)thatwasunderthecontrolofseedGspecificexpressedpromoterBx14wastransferredinto‘C418’,arestorerlineofthreeG
6、linejaponicahybridrice,usingthedoublerightGbordervectorpMNDRBBin6throughanAgrobacteriumtumefaciensGmediatedsystem.MolecularanalysisrevealedthatOsPMMwasintegratedintothegenomeoftransgenic‘C418’,andthehomozygousandmarkerGfreetransgeniclinewasobtainedintheT2generation.Ge
