4、enthoughpaststudiesshowthatFDIandtradehaveapositiveimpactoneconomicgrowth,thesizeofsuchimpactmayvaryacrosscountriesdependingonthelevelofhumancapital,domesticinvestment,infrastructure,macroeconomicstability,andtradepolicies.TheliteraturecontinuestodebatetheroleofFD
5、IandtradeineconomicgrowthaswellastheimportanceofeconomicandinstitutionaldevelopmentsinfosteringFDIandtrade.ThisarticleanalyzestheroleofFDIandtradeinpromotingeconomicgrowthacross14selecteddevelopingcountriesandtheinteractionamongFDI,trade,andeconomicgrowth.Weexamin
6、edatafromsixty-sixdevelopingcountriesoverthelastthreedecades.OurresultssuggestthatFDI,trade,humancapital,anddomesticinvestmentareimportantsourcesofeconomicgrowthfordevelopingcountries.WefindastrongpositiveinteractionbetweenFDIandtradeinadvancingeconomicgrowth.Ourr
