2、unitcostoftheenergy.Underthiscriticalbackground,bothacademeandindustryshowgreatconcerntothesystemperformanceonenergyefficiency,beingtheimportantpartofICT,themobilecommunicationhavethesamedemand.Onecategoryoftheeffectiveenergyoptimizationstrategiesistoimprovetheenergyefficiencyofthenetworkel

3、ementstoletperformanceofwholenetworkbeimproved.Inthecellularnetworksystem,sucheffortwasmainlyconcentratedonthewirelessaccessnetworks(basestations).Forthenumberofbasestationsisrelativehighwithrelativehighenergyconsumption,theenergyefficiencyimprovementofbasestationswillimprovetheperformanceo

4、fwholenetworkenormously.CorrespondingtothesituationthatwhileMIMO-OFDMcomestobedownlinkmultiaccesstechnologybythe3GPP-LTEstandardsbuttheimplementationofMIMOisstilllimitedinpractical,wemainlyfocusontheenergy-efficientadaptivepowerallocationinMISO-OFDMdownlinkscenario.Beginwiththeanalysisofbas

5、estationenergyefficiency,weformulatedtheenergyefficiencymodelofthesinglecellmultiusersMISO-OFDMsystem.ThencombinedwiththecharacteristicofOFDM,weinvestigatethecurrentlyenergy-efficientadaptiveresourceallocationstrategies.Inthefollowingpartsofourwork,wedesignaresourceallocationstrategythatpow

6、erallocatednon-equallyamongsubcarriers,butsubcarriersallocatedequallyamongtheselecteduserstodealwiththescenariothatthenumberofusersisgreatthansubcarriers.Todealwiththemuchmorepracticalscenariothatthenumberofsubcarriersisgreatthanusers,wedesignaresourceallocationstrategythatpowerallocatedequ

7、allyamongsubcarriers,butsubcarriersallocatednon-equallyamongtheusers.ThesetwoallocationstrategiescouldsatisfyboththetotaltransmissionpowerconstraintanduserdemandforQualityofService(QoS).Numericalresultsshowedthatbothallocationstrategiescouldeffectivelyme
