1、有些動(dòng)詞后接賓語(yǔ)時(shí),既可接不定式,又可接動(dòng)名詞,但有區(qū)別。如1.liketodo“喜歡做某事”,指一次性動(dòng)作。如Iliketoswiminthisrivernow.likedoing“喜歡做某事”,指習(xí)慣性動(dòng)作。如Ilikeswimming.類似的還有:disliketodo/doing(“不喜歡做某事”),hatetodo/doing(“討厭做某事”),lovetodo/doing(“熱愛(ài)做某事”),prefertodo/doing(“更喜歡做某事”)。2.remembertodo“記得要去做某事”如Sherememberedtoseeherpare

4、arest.wantdoing“想要做某事”(主語(yǔ)必須是物)如Thebikewantsmending.(=Thebikewantstobemended)8.begintodo與begindoing都譯作“開(kāi)始做某事”,二者可以混用。但是begindoing更強(qiáng)調(diào)動(dòng)作不但開(kāi)始,而且一直持續(xù)下去。如Thebabybegancryinghard.而在下類情況下只用begintodo,不用begindoing:○1當(dāng)主語(yǔ)是物時(shí)。如Itbegantosnow.○2當(dāng)begin用進(jìn)行時(shí)的時(shí)候。如Thetrainisbeginningtoleave.○3當(dāng)begin
5、后接表示心理活動(dòng)的動(dòng)詞(如think,understand,know)時(shí)。如Shebegantounderstandherparents.注:begin的用法完全適用于start。9.goontodo“繼續(xù)做某事”,指做不同的事。如AfterreadingEnglish,shewentontolearnmath.goondoing“繼續(xù)做某事”,指做同一件事,相當(dāng)于_goonwithsth。如WhenIwaswritingaletter,someoneknockedatthedoor.Iopenedthedoorandthenwentonwriting
