4、withcustomers,andultimately,loweredservicequalityandcustomersatisfaction(Joineretal.,2004).Inparticular,therehasbeenarapiddevelopmentinthehotelindustryinMacausincethegaminglicensehasbeenliberatedin2000.Retainingquali?edfrontlineemployeeshasbeenagreatchallenge
5、intheMacaugamingindustry(itisthelargestgamingcentreintheworld),touristnumbersareincreasingatafasterratethenthelocalpopulation.Consequently,careerdevelopmentintourismindustryismoreimportantthaninotherindustries.Thatis,retainingquali?edserviceemployeesisoneofth
