3、ropriateoracceptable.Inanarroeansthesituationalcontext.InHalliday’sopinion,thesituationalcontextsincludethesetting,theesdividesitintoeightelements:setting,role,function,notion,style,stressandintonation,grammar,vocabularyandlanguageaids.Thosefactorsaffecteachotheranddecidei

4、sappropriate.Thesituationalcontextandsocioculturalcontextcan’tbeisolatedfromeachother.Incertainsocioculturalcontext,peoplemustobeytheparticularmunicativerulesunicationrulesbutalsoadjustthemselvesaccordingtothefactorsofthesituationalcontext.Thatis,thesituationalcontextandso

5、cioculturalcontextaffecteachotherandareplementarytoeachother.Ⅱ.Thelanguagecontextandthemunicativepetence“petence”isacentralissueinlinguistics,sofabstractsyntactictheory(asChomsky)orintermsofsocialinteraction(ases).AndHymesthinksthemunicativepetenceshouldincludefourtypes:la
