3、yofacertainnation.Therefore,tohaveacontraststudyoncolorfulwordsisnecessary.Inthiswaywemaygetadeepinsightinadifferentculturesothatwecanexpressourthoughtsmoreexactlyandavoidanypossibleerrorsandmisunderstandingsincommunicationwithpeoplefromotherpartsoftheworld.However,eventhoughChineseandEnglishnati
4、onshaveanearlysameunderstandingtonaturalcolors,theirdistinguishedculturalbackgroundscausethemtohavedifferentfeelingabouttheassociativemeaning,implication,andallusionofcolors.Therearesomanyfactors:custom,geographicalcondition,wayofthinking,religiousbelief,andnationalpsychology,aswellasthedifferenc
5、eoflanguageexpression.Peoplehavedifferentemotiontocolor,incommendationorderogatorysense.Allthesefactorsformdifferentcolorfulconnotationwiththeirowncharacteristic.Whiledoingtranslationwork,wehavetobesurethatweknowwhatpeopletrulymeanbyusingthesewordsatdifferentplace,time,withdifferentattachmentorev
