2、firstcentury.However,peoplefromdifferentcountriesmayhavedifferentbeliefs,values,attitudesandworldviews.Theymayusetheirownculturalvalues,beliefsandattitudestounderstandtheotherswhohavedifferentculturalbackgrounds.Asaresult,pragmaticfailurewillcomeintobeingandbringmanyobstaclesintocross-culturalcommun
3、ication.Incross-culturalcommunication,duetonegativetransfer,differentculturalconnotations,culturalvalues,socialnorms,andimproperforeignlanguageteachingintheclassroom,pragmaticfailurecanhardlybeavoided.Tocultivatethelearners’pragmaticcompetenceandtoimprovetheawarenessofculturaldifferencesofthelearner
4、sarealsoimportanttoreducepragmaticfailureincross-culturalcommunication.Keywords:cross-culturalcommunication;pragmaticfailure;causesandcountermeasures摘要:隨著全球化進(jìn)程的加快,跨文化交際越來越成為當(dāng)今世界重要活動之一。但是,由于交際者可能來自于不同文化,他們不了解異族文化的特點,各自遵循的信念、價值觀、世界觀等也不盡相同,經(jīng)常會在跨文化交際中出現(xiàn)語用失誤,影響跨文化交際的成功進(jìn)行。在跨文化交際中,由于不適當(dāng)?shù)奈幕w移,不同的文化解讀、價值觀念,社
