2、itisfoundthattheyhavesomeviewpointsaboutmultimediateaching,sothereismuchvalueandmeaningtomultimediaapplicationinEnglishteachinginmiddleschool.ThepurposesofthethesisarethepresentsituationandthemainproblemsofmultimediaapplicationinEnglishteachinginmiddleschool,andthenfindou
3、tsolvemethods.Theresearchquestions:1)Whataretheteacher’sandstudent’sviewpointsofEnglishTeachingwithmultimedia?2)Whatis(are)theproblem(s)studentsrunintowhileteachersareconductingEnglishteachingwithmultimedia?3)Whatarethebestmethodstoresolvetheexistingproblems?Thisresearch,
4、throughquestionnairesurvey,investigatedsomerandomlychosenteachersandstudentsofChangJiNO.4middleschoolandchoosestheGradeTwostudents.Throughsurveyandanalysis,itisfoundthatthemainproblemsexistinginmultimediateachingofEnglishareasfollows:(1)Studentscannottakenoteseffectivelyb
5、ecauseofthehighspeedofcourseware.(2)Multimediateachingnegativelyreducestheopportunitiesofemotionalexchangebetweenteachersandstudentsbecauseofthechangefrominterpersonalcommunicationtoman-machinecommunicationinclassroom.(3)Multimediacoursewareoftenservesasaplatformforgather
6、ingmaterialsandinfactbecomesanelectronicversionofthetraditionalspoon-feedingeducation.Thus,manystudentsbecomethepassiverecipientsofinformationinclass.(4)Multimediateachingisnotconducivetothetrainingofstudents’spokenEnglishtoacertainextent.Inresponsetotheseissues,undertheg
