2、ext,whichindealingwiththewordmeaningsshouldbetakenintoconsideration,wherebydevelopingthestudents’linguisticknowledgeandability.Thethesisgivesaninterpretationonthecontext,expoundingandprovingtheimportanceofthecontexttothevocabularyteaching.Thispaperdescribesabriefanalysisoftheproblemsconcerningvo

3、cabularyteachinginmiddleschoolandconcernstheideaofformingasetofelasticsysteminteachingvocabulary,andrevealsthemethodsofmakingvocabularyteachinginteresting,diverse,orderlyandsystematic.Contextisusefulforteacherstopresentvocabulary,anditprovidesaneffectivewayforlearnerstomemorizethemeaningofwords.

4、Acombinationofcontextwithlexicalpatternsandgroupingsperformsanessentialfunctioninvocabularyteaching.Keywords:vocabulary;context;lexicalpatterns;discourse摘要:詞匯是語(yǔ)言的基本單位,是語(yǔ)言的建筑材料。英語(yǔ)詞匯在外語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)中的作用不容忽視,英語(yǔ)詞義靈活多變,且一詞多義。任何詞語(yǔ)和句子都是在一定的語(yǔ)境中存在的,離開(kāi)語(yǔ)境談詞義,不利于提高學(xué)生的語(yǔ)言知識(shí)和能力。本文對(duì)“語(yǔ)境”做以解釋說(shuō)明,陳述并證明語(yǔ)境在詞匯教學(xué)中的重要性。文章從對(duì)中學(xué)英語(yǔ)詞匯教
