2、vanceduserinterface,motionanalysisandmodel-basedcoding,etc.Generallyspeaking,theprocedureofthehumanmotiontrackingandanalysisfromasequenceofimagesinvolvesthreemainstages:(1)movingobjectssegmentationinacomplexscene;(2)humanbodysegmentationfrommovingobjects;(3)humanmotiontrackinga
3、ndbodystructurere—construction;(4)motionanalysisandactionrecognition.Asthebaseofthehumanactionrecognitionandunderstanding,humanmotiontrackingandbodystructurere—constructionisthekeyofthewholeprocedure.Thispaperproposesamethodofdetectingthelowerlimbjointsinhumanwalkingautomatical
4、ly,whichisbasedonthegeometrypropertiesofwalkinghuman.Theimagesequenceisacquiredbyasinglecamerafirstly,andthehumanregionisextractedfromtheimagebythebackgroundsubtraction.Afterthehumanregionandheightareobtained,wecanfurthercompletethelowerlimbjointsdetectionofwalkinghuman.’Abovea
5、ll,thelowerlimbdetectioninhumanwalkingfromsideviewisfinishedbasedonthelimblengthlimit,becausethelimblengthhasnodistortioninhumanwalkingfromsideview.Next,wedetectthekneejointsfromfrontaccordingtotheedgeinformationandlimblengthlimit.Towards血edetectionofanklejointsfromfront,weadju
6、stthelengthoflowerlegbyedgeinformationandusethisnewlengthtodetecttheanklejoints.Finallyafurtherresearchondetectionoflowerlimbsjointfromanyvi.ewiscompleted,whichisaccordingtothelinearcurvefittingoflowerlimbedgeandlowerlimblength.Thispapergivestheexperimentresultsoflowerlimbjoint
7、sdetectionfromanyviews.Theimagesequencesincluderealsequencefromsideviewandmodelsequencesfromside,frontandanyviewsbyhumanmodelsoftware(3DMAXandPOSER3.O).Theexperimentresultsprovethatthemethodinthispaperissimpleandeasytocomplete.Atlastthefurthersuggestionsfortheimprovement&thesys
