5、ords:readingcomprehension;backgroundknowledge;influence;strategies文化背景知識對英語閱讀理解的影響及教學對策劉變弟【摘要】對文化背景知識的匱乏是造成中國英語學習者閱讀困難的主要原因，因此，在閱讀之前了解必要的文化背景知識是十分重要的，閱讀教學中，使學生熟悉所學語言國家的歷史、文化傳統(tǒng)和風俗習慣等對拓寬教學內容，開闊學生眼界，使所學知識轉化為交際能力，有著不可估量的作用。教師應注重向學生介紹文化背景知識，探索如何在外語課堂上有效地融入文化教學。基于近年
6、來前人的研究成果，本文將討論背景知識和閱讀理解之間的密切關系,闡述背景知識對學生閱讀的影響，比如習語、文學知識、社會生活等方面的文化知識對閱讀理解的影響旨在提出一些教學對策,比如,課堂討論、對比中西文化、利用多媒體等幫助學生提高文化背景知識,以提高學生的英語閱讀能力。【關鍵詞】閱讀理解；背景知識；影響；對策CONTENTSI.Introduction....................................................................................
