4、studiedchilddevelopment,abuseandneglectattheYaleNewHavenHospitalandtheChildStudyCenter.IwasluckyenoughtoreceiveacivilrightsinternshipwithMarianWrightEdelmanattheChildren’sDefenseFund,whereIwenttoworkafterIgraduated.Thoseexperiencesfueledinmeapassiontoworkforthebenefitofchildr
5、en,particularlythemostvulnerable.Now,lookingback,thereisnowaythatIcouldhavepredictedwhatpathmylifewouldhavetaken.Ididn’tsitaroundthelawschool,saying,well,youknow,IthinkI’llgraduateandthenI’llgotoworkattheChildren’sDefenseFund,andthentheimpeachmentinquiry,andNixonretiredorresi
