3、ecompoundslistedaboveinmunicipalandindustrialdischargesasprovidedunder40CFRPart136.1.Whenthismethodisusedtoanalyzeunfamiliarsamplesforanyorallofthecompoundsabove,compoundidentificationsshouldbesupportedbyatleastoneadditionalqualitativetechnique.Thismethoddescribesanalyticalconditionsforasecond
4、gaschromatographiccolumnthatcanbeusedtoconfirmmeasurementsmadewiththeprimarycolumn.Method625providesgaschromatograph/massspectrometer(GC/MS)conditionsappropriateforthequalitativeandquantitativeconfirmationofresultsforalloftheparameterslistedabove,usingtheextractproducedbythismethod.11.3Themeth
5、oddetectionlimit(MDL,definedinSection14.1)foreachparameterislistedinTable1.TheMDLforaspecificwastewatermaydifferfromthoselisted,dependinguponthenatureofinterferencesinthesamplematrix.1.4ThesampleextractionandconcentrationstepsinthismethodareessentiallythesameasinMethods606,608,611,and612.Thus,
6、asinglesamplemaybeextractedtomeasuretheparametersincludedinthescopeofeachofthesemethods.Whencleanupisrequired,theconcentrationlevelsmustbehighenoughtopermitselectingaliquots,asnecessary,toapplyappropriatecleanupprocedures.Theanalystisallowedthelatitude,underSection12,toselectchromatographiccon
