2、ises,butdoesnotaffectthecontrollingstakeofexistingshareholdersintheenterprisewhentheytakePreferredstockfinancingasthePreferredstockhasthefeaturesofbothdebtandstork.makingChina'sfinancialmarketalsohasbeengreatlyaffectedbyfinancialcrisisandunabletomeettheneedsofcompanies’financin
3、gthroughtraditionalwaysoffinancing.GuanghuiEnergyisthefirstcompanywhoissuedtotakepreferredsharesfollowedbysixcompanies,andChinaSecuritiesRegulatoryCommissionhadauthorizedtherequisition.Inthispaper,takingGuanghuienergyastheobject,analyzethereasonsforitsissuanceofpreferredstock,t
4、heexpectedeffectsandrisks.ThispaperaimstogiveotherlistedcompanieswhichmayissuepreferencesharesinthefuturesomerelatedconsultationsandmakingexplorationtoexpandfinancingchannelsforChineseenterprises.Thispaperfirstlysummarizestheresearchresultsofscholarsonpreferenceshares,listsitsd
5、efinition,characteristics,classification,functionandshortcomings,makesacomparisonbetweendifferentfinancingmethods,ThenCitesexpectedeffectsandriskswhicharegroundedonrealitiesofsituationandspeculativeknowledge.Guanghuienergycanimprovethecompany'scapitalstructureandmeettheneedsofa
