3、fterinoculationthen,becomewidespreadinseveralEuropeanandtissuesweresampledforvirusisolationandcountries(BrownandCartwright1986,Jestinetalimmunofluorescence.Resultsindicatethatvirus1987,vanNieuwstadtandPol1989).Itreplicatesinreplicatedtohightitresintherespiratorytract
4、.therespiratorytractandistransmittedaerogenically.ReplicationmainlyoccurredinalveolarcellsbutalsoAlthoughrespiratorydistresshasbeenreporteduponinepithelialcellsofnasalmucosa,trachea,bronchi,infectionwiththisporcinerespiratorycoronavirusbronchioli,inalveolarmacrophage
5、sandintonsils.(PRCY),itusuallycausesasubclinicalinfection.Afterprimaryreplicationintherespiratorytract,Infectionwiththisvirusdoesnotcausediarrhoeaviraemiaoccurred.Virusalsoreachedthegastro?(Pensaertetal1986,Jestinetal1987,Duretetalintestinaltractafterswallowing.Subse
6、quently,PRCV1988).wasobservedtoreplicateintheileum.TheinflftionRecently,theantigenicrelationshipbetweenthespreadwithinafewdaysfromtheileumtotheduo?BelgianisolateofPRCY,designatedTLM83,andthedenum.ReplicationinthesmallintestineremainedclassicalTGEYhasbeenstudied(Calle
