4、3):322326.Abstract:ThechangesinpHvalue,soilenzymeactivityandmicrobedensityintherhizosphereofpottedriceplantsfedbyricebrownplanthoppers(BPH),NilaparvatalugensfordifferentdayswereinvestigatedonBPH—susceptiblericevariety(TN1)andtworesistantvarieties(IR26andIR36),forcomparingtheBP
5、H—feeding—associatedundergroundecologicalsystemsamongriceresistantvarieties.TherhizospheresoilpHvalueofTN1plantswassignificantlylowerthanthatofBPHfreeplantswithoutsignificantdeferenceamongresistantvarietiesonedayandfivedaysafterBPHfceding.Theactivitiesofsucraseandureaseinrhizo
6、spheredidnotdifferamongtreatmentsonedayafterBPHfeeding,whilesucraseactivitysignificantlyincreasedandureaseactivityreducedinIR36plantsoilninedayafterBPHfeedingascomparedwiththatintheBPH—freeplantrhizospheresoil.ThesoilbacterialdensityinrhizosphereofIR36significantlyreducedonlyo
7、nedayofBPHfeeding,andfungaldensityintherhizosphereofTN1significantlyreducedfivedaysafterBPHfeeding.thesoilactinomycetedensityintherhizosphereofIR26andIR36significantlyreduced.Multi—factoranalysisofvarianceshowedthatricevarietydidnotaffectpHvalueandmicrobepopulationofrhizospher
8、esoilandgreatlyaffectedthesoilenzymeactivity.Moreover,BPHfeed
