5、seindexatthediseasepeaktoevaluateVerticilliumwiltresistanceincottonintwoconsecutiveyears.[Results]Theidealconcentrationsforplotandcolumninoculationswere60g窯m-2and10g窯m-1basedonthereal-timemonitoringofthediseasein-dexofsusceptiblevariety(Jimian11)plants.Toimprovethereliabilityofthedata
6、,theminimumnumberofinvestigatedplantswassetas50accordingtothedivergencerateanalysis.Thenewdiseasegradingstandardrelatedtocottonyieldwasbasedonthefoliardiseaserateandincludedthefollowinglevels:0level(0%),firstlevel(1%-33%),secondlevel(34%-66%),thirdlevel(67%-99%),andfourthlevel(100%).A
7、nddiseaseresistanceevaluationresultsintwoconsecutiveyearsshowedapplyingtherelativeareaunderthediseaseprogresscurveproduced100%consistentresultsbetweenyears.[Conclusion]Thepresentstudyprovidespotentiallyusefuldataforimprovingthetechniquesusedtoevaluatecottonvarietydiseaseresistance,and
