3、thecharacteristicsofotherdiscourses.ThusananalysisonthelinguisticfeaturesofadvertisingEnglishinthelinguisticfieldisworthwhile.Undersuchcircumstances,astudyonthelinguisticfeaturesofadvertisingEnglishwillhavepracticaleffectsonthecomposingandtranslatingworkofthecopywriters.Thewholepape
4、risdividedinto3chapters.ThefirstchaptergiveabriefintroductionontherolesanddefinitionsofadvertisinganddiscussthefeaturesandcharacteristicsofEnglishslogans.Thesecondchapterstartsfromthetheoriesinsyntax,lexicology,rhetoricandendswiththelinguisticfeaturesanalyzedinthefieldofdiscourseana
5、lysis.ThethirdchapterThefourthchaptercombinestheviewpointsfromthepreviouschapterthirdandexplorestheeffectoftheadvertisingEnglishasawholeadvertisingprocess.Thelastchapter,alsotheconclusionpart,showsthatthoughadvertisinglanguageappearstobefloweryandrefined,itscontentisnobetterthancomm

7、所產(chǎn)生的作用也變得越來越重要。特別是伴隨著信息化社會(huì)的到來,廣告不再只是作為一種傳播手段向消費(fèi)者告知商品與服務(wù)信息,更擁有了廣泛的文化性和社會(huì)性功能。廣告具有鮮明的目的性,即說服顧客進(jìn)行購買,而廣告口號(hào)作為廣告語言極其重要的一部分更要首當(dāng)其沖抓住消費(fèi)者的眼球并讓消費(fèi)者記憶深刻,這種目的性決定了其語言的特色性風(fēng)格,使其獨(dú)立于其它文體。。本文選定英語這一全球普遍使用的語言,就其應(yīng)用于廣告領(lǐng)域而產(chǎn)生的一些語言學(xué)特點(diǎn)和廣告本身的社會(huì)性特點(diǎn)進(jìn)行深入分析。此外,針對(duì)英語是一種全球通用的國際語言的特點(diǎn),本文也對(duì)英語廣告口號(hào)應(yīng)各國各地區(qū)不同文化的特征而變化做了簡要論述。本文共
