2、guistic.Italsomadeasurveyaboutapproachesintransferstudies,nativespeakers’attitudestowardtransfer,andtransfersmadebyChineselearnersofEnglish.Itwasarguedthattransferresearchevolvedfromalinguistic-to-non-linguisticpath,andthereisanecessityinthecurrenttrendtoshiftfro

6、knowledgeoflanguagesandculturesotherthanL2ontheircomprehension,production,andacquisitionofL2pragmaticinformation”(Kasper,1992;1995).2.1RoleofnegativepragmatictransferininterlanguagepragmaticstudiesThestudyofthelearnerlanguagehasbeenagrowingsourceofconcernalsoinpr
7、agmaticsinrecentyears.Thepragmaticperspectivetowardthelearnerlanguageledtothebirthofanewinterdiscipline,interlanguagepragmatics(ILP).Asthemainfocusofpragmaticsistoexaminehowanutterancemeaningisperceived,interlanguagepragmaticsmainlyconcernswithhownon-nativespeake
